Good morning folks,

TomO, thanks for opening.

Rick, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.  Cool photos today.

Curt, hope you enjoy the day without direction.

Larry, hope the chillin' day is to your liking.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's another hot one in the forecast at 96F.  Sharon's infusion went well.  It was for low iron, and she has three more.  The oncologist thinks her low iron is from all the chemo and cancer drugs she took over the years.

I didn't make it upstairs yesterday.  After the infusion, our daughter invited us out to a Japanese restaurant.  I'm not sure where the afternoon went.  Both my teams won yesterday, so today starts with a smile.  A few 1:1 activities will consume my morning, but I hope to make it upstairs this afternoon.

Have fun,
mike

My SPARTANS won last evening, too.  They looked pretty good doing it.  Hopefully a better year than the last.  New coach seems energetic and spirited as did the team.  The Toledo team looks good and a worthy opponent for a pre season opener.  There coach is new this year after leaving Mercer, Macon, Ga, and bringing 17 players with him.  This new era is real grey area in my way of thinking.  Can't imagine the "donor" school is very pleased.

3" rain yesterday, I did get out and mow late in the day, it was so long.  Will need to be swept when/if it dries out.  First color of the year on the tree at the end of mine at the "T" with the state hwy.

Geek squad coming to day.  No plans for me except buying us all dinner later... :-\

Enjoy all, keep your powder dry.

Good morning everyone,

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick.  Interesting history regarding the lookout.  Glad you made it to Wyoming safely.  If we don't hear from you (due to lack of internet) enjoy your hikes.

Curt, sounds like you are doing ok with the lack of direction. 😊  have fun working on the build.

Larry, forgot to mention yesterday, but that's great news about Ellie.  I bet that is a great worry off your chest.  Enjoy your "chillin" day.

Mike, Japanese restaurent for a meal, sorry I missed it, 😊 hope the meal was great.  Hope the chores go well so you make it upstairs.

Karl, if you have to buy dinner, I hope you get to pick the spot.  Hope you get a day with no rain.

Well, it took us less than 4 months to reach 100 pages, where did the time go?

Current weather here is 17c (62f) and cloudy with a little more rain in the forecast later today.  My Canes won their season opener last night so things are great here too.  No modeling yesterday as I ended up working (from home) all day.  I did manage to get some cleanup and re-arranging done in the crew lounge that I have been avoiding.  We weekend is here so I get a greater chance making it to the bench and working on the layout.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Rick.

I figured I'd start checking in a little each day and get back into the swing of things.

Taking Pam to the mega flee market. While she is looking at all the stuff, I'll see if I can find any old US Currency at one of the coin dealers.

Not much going on but I will have a short update on the Horwoods Bros. build tomorrow afternoon. Can't see well enough to work on the model but I have had to remove the station base.

Have a great day everyone and enjoy the weekend.
