TomO/Tloc

Good morning. We should get above 85f degrees today

No real plans but Terry is looking at the grocery list. $.25 per gallon off of gas if we spend $35. 35 bucks in a grocery store now is what, 1/2 a bag?

Watch Vegas beat Colorado and I have found myself rooting for Vegas this series. The game tonight is Montreal and Carolina. Go Habs...

I have somewhat recovered from Friday's work session. Leg fatigue and pain is bothersome. Terry and I were discussing my appointments this week and she asked if they have checked for Lyme disease. I told them to check a month ago but I will send a message via the My Chart portal to all 3 doctors. I had Lyme disease before Covid and while not exact there seem to be many similarities

If the weather stays nice today I'd rather be on the front porch than the bench. I do have 5 trees (just the armatures) to build for a friend, I can work on them out there.

Enjoy the day

Good morning everyone.

67 now, sunny and 90 later in Sioux Falls.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Assorted muffins, danish and bagels are out for breakfast today.

Philip, I haven't built that kit but have worked on other kits by Stoney Creek.
I wasn't always happy with the way they went together.

TomO, sitting on the deck making trees sounds like a nice way to spend the day.
Hope you're feeling better.

Jerry, what's new?

Ron, any modeling yesterday?

Dave, you must have a lot of stuff out for all that pick up/ put away.

Karl, heading north today?

Mike, keep enjoying the lake.

Larry, at the very least I need something to sit on and sleep on.

Curt, thanks for the pictures.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Ended up getting a recliner yesterday.
No, it's not in the van, I'll pick it up after the closing.
Rest of the day involved taking it easy.
Gym this morning, then heading down to Canton (that's where my house is) and tour the town and talk to a couple of banks there to see where I can transfer my money to.

These are Dame's Rocket.
They look pretty but are considered an invasive species.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. Any idea when you plan on moving into your new house?

Starting out here in the mid 70's heading to the mid 90's later. We're supposed to get a lot of rain this week, but nothing so far. Yesterday was O.B.E. or in Navy speak, overtaken by events. Never made it to the train room. I seemed to do everything but that. :-\

Today after chores I'll head to the workbench for sure...unless MOH has different tasking for me. ::)

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Rick. Nice photo of the flowers. We have Night Blooming Jasmine here. You see it everywhere, blooms at night and spells great. However, it is considered an invasive species and poisonous to animals and humans.

Curt, more great photos.

Emee has a vet follow up for her eye and annual. I'm sure all will be fine.

The house painters said they will be here Friday morning. I'll need to get stuff off the walls.

Hopefully, I'll have time later to finish the stucco on Horwood's.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Good Morning,

Rick thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Yup a bed and something to sit on would be good. I was just surprised you bought a house but having a "home base" is probably a smart move. Pretty flowers.

Curt hope you make it to the bench and great photos.

Tom hope Emee's vet visit goes well. That's the best way to get your abode painter.....watch somebody else do it since none of us are as young as we used to be.

What's the rest of you up to.

It's a sunny 55 with a high of 83. Need to grocery shop shortly then a few outside odds and ends to attend to. Not sure if the bench is in my immediate future or not.

Have a great and safe day!!! Be well.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast.  Interestingly, your first purchase was a recliner.  Good move.

Curt, thanks for the loco photos. Good luck at the bench.

TomACL, hope the house painting goes well.  Good luck to Emee.

Larry, odds and ends sound familiar.  Hope yours are easy.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a rainy day, and we need the rain.  We are back from the lake, still stuffed from all the good grazing. I'll catch up on all the forum posts this morning. Lodge is tonight, but today I'll head upstairs.

Have fun,
mike

All loaded up and headed to the car.

Heading to Northern Command!

Memorial Day was quiet. I mowed and replace the FEP for the 3d machine. The Geek squad came out and planted a bunch of gourds.

Nice weather, should be nice for traveling  60 going to 80  8) w/sun.

Nice weather here in SE NH, too.  Currently 60, started at 51, should end around 83.  Sunny, not too humid.  The leaves are pretty much out, still some growth left for the oak leaves to reach full size.  This is a fun time of year when things change rapidly.  We haven't heard from our yard guy, and we're getting concerned.  He went back to Panama and we hope he wasn't stuck there.  (He has a native born American wife and 2 or 3 kids here, and they run the family farm.)

Or are you going to get new again???
Nice looking flowers.

Curt nice pictures again this am.

Tom I'm sure Emee will be fine.

Larry don't you just hate those odds and ends!!

Welcome back Mike.

Karl have a safe drive to the Northern command.

Dave I hope he makes it back.

Weather in South Jersey P. sunny/71.  Later on 77.
We have flower to plant today.
After 5 days of misty/rainy weather.
Shingling goes on.
Hopefully more rows of that later today!!  I made a small jig to keep the rows kind of straight.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Morning all!

You guys stay busy! Kinda like the recliner part. More rain again, well over 3" this past 4 days.

Just maybe Jerry!
I'm sitting on the fence staring at these Stony Creek plans Rich sent me. Quite an involved kit. Looks over engineered Rick? The plans show 22 trusses! A bunch for a 6 x 7 foot print.

So Rick what gave you heartburn with these kits?

Have a great Tues!
