Curt looking for update later on.

Karl enjoy the day of rest before more trimming.

TomO hope all the rest of the medicals go well.

Weather in South Jersey P. sunny/80.  Later 86.
Hmmm!  A day without it being in the 90's.
Summer is nice but it's just to dam hot now.
Hopefully my room is cool off so I can out there for an hour or so.

Everyone have a wonderful day!!  :)

Howdy!

I've been working all day. What's up with that ?!

If you follow Jason Jensen on YouTube, he is a having a live show tonight and you can even join in and ask him questions.

Rick

Good afternoon everyone.

Sounds like you are all doing well.

Star and I started todays hike a little before 4:30 and finished just before 10:30.
We hiked Torreys Peak.
It was 7.85 miles and 3,091' of climbing.
Perfect weather conditions.
Not hot, not cold, no wind and beautiful clouds.

Only reason I have internet now is because my friend has Starlink.
I won't post in the AM because he doesn't get up nearly as early as I do.

Curt, your wife did a nice job on the picture.

Enjoy the rest of your day everyone.

Rick

Good morning everyone.

47 in Silver Plume, cloudy with afternoon rain and a high of 62.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Boxes of cereal on the counter along with fresh fruit and a variety of milks in the fridge for breakfast today.

Jamie, I guess it's another work day for you.
Is it too personal to ask what you do?

Jerry, hope your room is cool.

TomO, hope all the medicals go well.

Karl, glad you enjoyed the tacos.

Curt, good news on the kit progress.

Larry, nice progress on the diorama.

What's everyone else up to?

I drove back down the hill from the trailhead yesterday afternoon so I'd have internet this morning.
Heading to Leadville today to do laundry and get some water.
Leadville is on the way to the next 14er which will probably happen on Saturday.

Sunrise on the trail yesterday.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. Fantastic photos yesterday and today.

Just been told by MOH of the errands that I didn't know that I needed to do. In addition to those I need to drop off books at the library and get pool chlorine. The heat just sucks it right out of the pool.

The screen guys (that's their actual name) finished yesterday and the enclosure looks very good.

Yesterday I added the doors and windows to the office. There's another smaller office that attaches to the one I'm currently working on.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning,

Rick thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Beautiful photo!!! Safe travels to your next "14'er". Thanks the diorama coming along.

Curt glad the screening is finished and that you got your $$'s worth. Errands seem to be never ending; not sure how I managed to work a 40 hour job and take care of all those little things.

What's your plans?

It's a sunny 68 with a high of 80 today. Making a trip to the Farm Stand later this morning for some fresh veggies and probably a little bench time beforehand, After that who knows.

Have an enjoyable and safe day!!! Be well.

Rick, what elevation is tree line on those mountains?  How far had you walked to take the 'sunrise' photo?

Yesterday I primed the rock 'casting' (actually plastic sheeting) on the two sides of the river in my "3 bridges" scene.  Today I'll start painting the rock, hopefully I can remember the colors I used to match the other rocks in that area.

Good morning everyone,

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick, congrats on doing another 14er.

Curt, glad you happy with the screen work.  Sounds like you are making great progress on the build, I'll need to check it out.

Larry, have fun at the bench.

Dave, I learned a long time ago to wright down my "recipes" in a book so that If I want to do something similar or want to continue an existing project I have the colours, techniques to continue on.  Have fun rock painting.

Current weather today is 18c (64f) and cloudy, there is a 40% chance of thunderstorms later today.  Had some big boomers last night that were loud enough to scare Gracie, so we had a visitor last night in bed.  She doesn't normally sleep on the bed, only when she is scared.  No modeling last night as I had a field trip yesterday (sit visit, 4 hrs away :o ) and by the time I got back and ate, I was done.  I have to work tomorrow but at least I'll be working from home so there might be bench time tonight. :D   I really want to finish the turntable as the finish is in sight.

Have a great day everyone.

Was sitting on the back deck last evening when this boy walked by about 15-20 feet away, said hi!

It's quite humid today, we had very dense fog around daybreak, I'd not been able to see the lil buck it was so thick. It's hazy bright now. Rain has brushed past us but disappointed in its brevity. It's all been S of us toward the state line and down into Indiana. 12" in Muncie :o   We don't need that much, some would be real nice. My spy cam at Northern Command just sent a shot, it looks like a nice day.

Here's a beaver dam we saw a while back while driving up the old Haywire Roadbed , the Manistique and Lake Superior RR line up to Shingleton to meet the Duluth South Shore and Atlantic line. M&LS was owned by the Ann Arbor.  They gave up on it in the 60s I believe.
