How goes the rest of the gang?

It's a hazy, hot day in Georgia, but cooler today at 92F. The optometrist and dentist visits went well. 

Yesterday I finished gluing the hand car superstructure together.  Today I hope to glue on the decking and do some light weathering.  I browsed car and structure kits yesterday in search of the next project, but couldn't get excited about anything.  Maybe I'll work on the layout.

62 now in Colorado Springs, AM sun and PM clouds (as usual here in CO.) with a high of 82.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Leftover pepperoni pizza for breakfast today.
Eat it cold or warm it up in a skillet.

Mike, have fun with the handcar.

Curt, hope you got some quality sleep last night.

Karl, I like that night shot very much.

Ron, any TT progress?

TomO, hope the hip feels better today.

Jerry, I still feel bad about not finishing that hike and I'm giving serious thought to going back there.

How's everyone else.

Checked off the gym, Costco and Walmart yesterday.
Also stopped at a camera shop to see if they had a remedy for my camera.
They didn't, and said it probably needs to go back to Sony for repair.
That won't happen till I get home.
Then went to Snowpack Taproom in Conifer for a very good pepperoni pizza (hence today's breakfast) and 2 oatmeal stouts.
While my friend messaged me that he had passes to do the Manitou Incline today.
The Incline was constructed up the slope of Mount Manitou under the ownership of Dr. Newton N. Brumback as a funicular in 1907, for the purpose of providing access to water tanks at the top of the mountain that would provide gravity-fed water pressure to the cities of Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs.
Now the incline is a hiking trail consisting of 2,768 steps (the old ties) and gaining a little over 2,000' of elevation.
Star isn't allowed to go on this one.

Rick thanks for the coffee and breakfast.The 2nd photo is spectacular! I can see why you turned around in the 1st photo; if you decide to have another go please be careful....you don't want sliding rocks under your feet. Nope, have a couple of errands to run this am.

What's your plans today?

It's 56 on the back porch with a high of 75 and maybe some rain. After the errands I hope to color 2 LP's for the tractor scene on the diorama. Not much else going on around here.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. That photo reminds me of photos of Everest but without snow and ice and a lot more elevation. You should follow your gut feeling or the voice in your head. When I get it, it's usually right.

I had an excellent night's sleep and feel like a human today. Yesterday I glued the 2nd office to the building I've been working on and shingled the roof. Next up is more rafter tails.

Today is floor day then I need to take Dad to Publix. We did the P.O. and bank yesterday but I didn't have the energy to walk Publix after his senior trip.

Not much else happening today.

My training class got cancelled at the last minute. I've had to rearrange my schedule. Fortunately, there is always something that has to get done at work.

It is going to be 100 degrees F here today. I hope you all have a much cooler day.
