Now you're a You Tube sensation as well, Jaime.

Sunny this morning and headed to 83 later.  I will need to mow when the grass dries out from yesterdays on and off rains.  

Probably a short walk later as well.

I think I'm near finishing the kit I'm working on.  My turnout controls didn't arrive yesterday, hopefully they get here tomorrow.

It's cloudy and a bit muggy in SE NH, 68/85 for temps.  I'll do some more work on the coal dock today, I need to decide if I'll suffer through the NBWs this should get :-)

Way to go Jamie!

I was there yesterday morning but did not see you Jamie. I did meet up with Bill Santori, he has put together a really amazing company. Lots of neat stuff to bring a layout alive. He told me he had just retired from his job and did not want to get too heavy into this business. From what I saw of his and his wife's booth that ship has already sailed. I managed to scout out some deals focusing on the speciality paints, markers, and pan pastels to improve my models. It appeared to be a well attended show, lots of neat stuff. Lots of suppliers I did not know personally. Of course Deb my wife got shirts!

The kids headed back to Ohio yesterday morning so we decided to pack up and head back to Florida as well so after checking out the show we got the pups in the van and headed home. Halfway there we hit some of the heaviest rain with lighting I have ever driven through. Deb was at the wheel and had to work her way through it for an hour. During a break in the rain we switched and I had my turn. Only one really bad accident seen most likely caused by the rain and overall the trip was only a little over an hour longer than normal. Really don't want to do that again.

Shout out to Tom Langford, hope you are hanging in there Tom. Hope everyone has a great day.

Grey and humid 70 headed to 80 in Michigan. 

It sounds like everyone had a good day at the train show.  I've heard little about the NMRA convention part.  I'm sure that was well done.

All day gentle rain barely rose above the dust in the gage.  It put a damper on the daughter's art/craft show but it wasn't a washout.  The Doll went over there for a couple hours in the afternoon. Said the people watching was worth the price of admission...$0.. In her opinion the current crop of people really could give a rip about how they look.  The daughter did well selling her trinkets even with the rain.

I read and kept the cat company yesterday. Took the Doll out for pizza in the evening.  Dodging numerous active deer all along the roadway.

Checked the rain gage, 3/10". Hardly a dent in deficit amount.

Good morning, Jamie, Jeff, Dave, Jim, Karl and later arrivals.  And more best wishes for Tom L!  My weather is as Dave reports.  Last night's Yankee Homecoming fireworks were good. We brought chairs and found a good viewing location, but there was enough path lighting that I only took a few photos.  Today we return for the parade that closes out the week.

Jamie, I don't think I've seen you in person since the KItForum event in Scranton or maybe Danvers, but your selfie will help next time we're at the same show. Jim, that's a nice model of a big station. Did you make a note of what its prototype was?

Does this mean there's going to be a mini print Jamie available soon? I have a few of their figures and they're pretty cool. They also proved, to me, I really need to work on my figure painting skills. There are at least half a dozen figures from FOS sitting on my workbench, already primed, waiting for me to practice on them.

Yesterday I felt like I made some progress on the current build. I finally was able to glue a couple of walls together. That's my favorite part of any build. Seeing things take shape.

It seems I caught the flu (or something similar) from Junior. Luckily, I have a Theraflu prescription at hand, so I started taking that immediately. I don't feel great but it's not terrible either. Tomorrow, I'll reschedule my two PT appointments for this coming week. Just to be safe. I'll try to do the exercises at home though.

I've heard of April Fool's Day and enjoyed quite a few of them myself (you get the opportunity during 84 years), but August Fools Day?

For those of you who have never had the pleasure of meeting Jaime 1 on 1, I enjoyed meeting him, at Timonium years ago and I believe you'll see him IF you blow up the picture and look at the guy in the righthand background holding something in his hands.
Did I also mention, he ahs a wicked sense of humor?
