Morning all,

Sunny and headed to 81 degrees today.

Finally finished the last two cars.  These were tough.  The gondola had no weights, but I found a couple in the stash.  Some of the grabs broke and were replaced with Tichy metal ones, which needed painting.  Lots of glue spots so a spray of Dullcoat needed.  I did do a wash of thinned black over the car (these were used in coal service by the Q) to cover some other boo boos.  I didn't intend to paint the trucks, but though it would look odd otherwise.  The reefers yellow is the plastic (not painted), and I don't like the starkness, so it may get weathered as well.

Here's a pic of all the repaired and new cars from my recent rolling stock binge.  Time for some layout work

Last full week of August. Time flies.
