Our great sunny fall continues.  It got down to 25 last night with frost on the leaves, but up to 58 today.  Last night, since Scotch Club was still in session when I took the dogs out after dinner and watching some TV, we went for a nightcap.  One of my dogs has limited patience for all this (she doesn't drink  ;D ) so when she gets fussy, I set her down and she starts walking home.

I did a layer of Sculptamold, colored to match the rocks, on the creekbed.  I need to go back and do some patching to make sure I fill in the holes.  Then when that's dry, I'll coat it with a layer of Titebond III waterproof glue.  I also need to figure out how to handle the small 'cataract' so the water will pour in 2 levels.

Good afternoon folks,

Curt, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast.  Good luck with the crane.

Larry, hope the garage visit goes well.

TomO, wow, poachers already.

Rick, glad the shop is making money.  Nice leaf photo, thanks.

Ron, congrats on the book find.  That's a nice thing about the LHS.

Karl, glad the ops session went well.  They all do at Andy's.

Bernd, leaves to fall far from the tree.  Congrats on the rare skills.

Dave, good luck with the creek bed.

Jerry, the wall four sound good.  Glad you were able to finish it.

How goes the rest of the crew?

It's an overcast day with occasional rain.  The high is forecast for 59F, but tomorrow it returns to the 70s.

I didn't make it upstairs yesterday.  Our extra refrigerator and freezer gave up the ghost.  We lost a lot of frozen food. @#$#@.  First up will be getting the old one carted away.  Next we'll look for an upright freezer.

Have fun,
mike

Good Morning,

The morning beverages are at the end of the counter. Breakfast is a buffet with cheesy scrambled eggs, French Toast, Crispy bacon, sausages, and your choice of pastries along with pure Maple Syrup and butter; enjoy.

What's your plans for the day?

It's a sunny 40 with a high of 70. Managed to get the SUV to the Garage yesterday without incident. Driving @ 25 mph the five minute ride turned into ten; now I'll wait for the good news on the cost. Going to Wegmans shortly for Rx's and a few odds and ends. I might actually make it to the bench today.

Have a great and safe day!! Be well.

Good morning,

Larry, thank you for opening the forum, making coffee, and cooking breakfast.  Fingers are crossed for the repair bill.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's bright now, but clouds are coming later.  Forecast is 73°F, no rain.

I have a few 1:1 chores today, but hope to make it upstairs.

Have fun,
mike

Rick

Good morning everyone.

60 now and raining.
Rain all day with a high of 67.

Larry, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Glad you made it to the mechanic safely and hope it's not too expensive to fix.

Greg, good morning.

Mike, sorry about the broken freezer and spoiled food.

Jerry, glad you're making progress on wall 4.

Dave, keep making scenery progress.

Bernd, you are a pro using your tools.

Karl, I tell management when they tell me I'm doing a great job to put it in the pay check.

Ron, congratulations to Kimi.
Did you notice who's second in the drivers standings?  :)
I thought yesterday's podium was interesting in that you had the previous, current and future best drivers up there.

ACLTom, how's Bill doing?

How's everyone else?

Day off today.
Yesterday was a MUCH slower day at work.
With all the rain it will be a quiet indoor day.

Last year at Yosemite NP.

Good morning everyone,

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Larry, hopefully the car issue is a minor thing and the bill will be cheap.

Mike, broken freezer and spoiled food, been there done that, not fun.  Hope you make it upstairs today.

Rick, I did see the driver's standings, it doesn't look like it will be a Mercedes 1, 2 for the drivers' standings.  Enjoy your day off.

Jerry, Hope the 4th wall goes well for you.

Karl, glad you enjoyed the ops session.

Mike, broken freezer and spoiled food, been there done that

Current weather here is 10c (50f) and mostly cloudy, might rain this afternoon.  Had a quiet day yesterday with no modeling, but I did do some cleanup between watching the F1 race and football.  I'm just waiting for my alarm guy to show up an do my alarm system upgrade.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Larry.

We had a great visit with Judge Bill and Cindy on Saturday. He is doing fine but his walking is very labored and not steady at all. Cindy thinks he is doing better and I think he isn't walking well at all. Most folks who see him agree with me.

It rained most of yesterday afternoon, last night and still raining now. Looks like a soggy day for sure.

Today, I'll balance the two check books and see what else I can get into here.

Karl, the busiest days for me in LE were the full moon on Sunday nights. The folks were all liquored up from the weekend and lots of domestic violence.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Leaves...
IMG_1937.jpeg.

There's probably more than that still left on the trees.

Tom, my grandmother was an ER nurse.  She said the ER got busy during full moons, too.

I saw the announcement from Don Tichy that he won't be doing any more shows.  I always enjoyed talking to him and Terri, as well as loading up one of those small baskets of goodies.

Good Monday morning from the grandkid's house.

Thanks for breakfast. Since I've been awake a few hours I will join in.

Rick, I think it funny you talking about work. But glad you're happy with it. It must be tough after years of being on the road. Do you use the van for local transport?

It's a late start for school every Monday but I am prepared for chauffeuring duties. I'll double check the schedule in a few minutes but late start is 9:30 for the middle schooler and 10 for the high schooler.

Soccer season is done! Coach gave each of the players a personalized letter and evaluation. It was well done and you could tell he put lots of thought into it. Turns out there were 8 players parents that went off to Cancun for a vacation. I knew about the 3 couples traveling with the daughter and her hubby but not the other 4 couples joining them. 8 of the 9 hockey parents on the soccer team went. Good for them! All made it safety to the place they are all staying. The soccer game usually has the parents and lots of grandparents. Not so Sunday. 15 players x4 is 60 and with 16 gone most of the players came with others. Only a few grandparents. The sidelines yesterday were sparse with 18, yes I counted. The daughter said already she doesn't want to leave the warmth!

The son and girl friend are in Mexico City. They are having a good time and he's interested on how a week day works out. They've had a few minor earthquakes that he said the locals are calling normal shakes. He texted this morning if the earth moves under you it's not minor! The week end crowds have been massive where ever they went. The Formula One race he said was good but the after parties as usual were outstanding. This is the 3rd of 4 races they are attending this season. They were planning 5 including Abu Dhabi but decided not to tempt fate in the Middle East.

The slot car racing yesterday ended up with double what was expected as 16 racers showed up. It was fun and are good kids.

Terry slept great here last night, I did not and may need a before noon nap!

Before heading to the grandkids house last night I put a 1st spray of fade on 2 girders for a bridge. I will look to see if more fade is needed or just the weathering which will be rusty

After my nap I need to head to the Apple Store. The camera now on the IpadPro is acting funny and I still need to decide on the new IPhone or not.

Losing a freezer full of food is a tough loss Mike. Been there done that!

Enjoy your day

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Larry. Good luck with the car bill.

I've already done chores and run Dad's errands. Yesterday I read through the crane instructions and blackened the kit metal parts.

This week I have a telephone appointment with my PCP on Tuesday then on Friday a eye appointment after 3 cancelations from the clinic. It should of been in March.

Speaking of the VA, this morning I missed a call from the VA Nurse line so I called back and after much rigamoro they couldn't figure out why they had called me...sailor speak :-X .

Mike sorry about the freezer. As others have said we've all been there and have the t-shirt.

I hope everyone has a good day.
