Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Philip.

I've just completed the Wednesday floor cleaning. It needed it badly this week.

My appointment went well. Labs ok, and no changes in meds, but now she wants to see me every 6 months instead of 12. On Friday I have to go in earlier than expected to do a BP check with my PCP nurse. I guess my BP was slightly elevated during my ER visit (I wonder why?)

I started the crane yesterday and will continue after this.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Our freezer did that and our homeowners policy covered the contents. Our new one is upright and much easier to access. Old ya know... ;D

Good morning everyone.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Philip.

TomO, hope Terry is doing well.

Rick, With that position, you may not be voting for a very long time. 😊

Mike, hope the 1:1 leaves you alone today so you can make it upstairs.

Dave, good luck ceiling the riverbed, for some reason liquid epoxy will find the tiniest pin hole. :o

Karl, looks like the car service contract is paying for itself.

Larry, hopefully today will be your last leaf grinding day so you can spend more time at the bench later on.

James, glad the polling was orderly.

Tom, have fun in the train room today.

Jerry, hope the appointment getting goes well and you make it to the bench.

Curt, glad to hear that your appointment went well.  It seems the older we get the more the Doctor wants to see us.

Current weather here is 18c (64f) and cloudy but there is no rain in the forecast. It's just about summer weather here. 😊  No modeling last night as I got distracted with other things.  We shall see what tonight brings.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning everyone.

40 now, cloudy and a high of 47 later.
The rains have stopped.  :)

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Bacon, egg and cheese on a toasted and buttered everything bagel for breakfast.

Greg, good morning.

Ron, you might be right about the voting.

Philip, what's in the freezer?

Curt, how's the crane build going?

Jerry, you can buy a mirrorless camera for under $1,000.

ACLTom, any shed progress?

James, enjoy the warm weather while it lasts.

Larry, Star only wakes me at night if her stomach is upstate and has to poop.
That only happens once or twice a year.
She can hold her pee for 12+ hours, which is something I'd love to do at night.

Karl, good thing you got that service contract.

Dave, have you started the water pour?

Mike, hope there's less 1:1 and more 48:1.

How's everyone else?

One more short day at work.
Since the rains have stopped I'll be able to take Star for walk in the neighborhood.'
Tomorrow should be able to get to a park for a hike.

This was back in July in the Ice Lake Basin.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. I wish I had a 12 hour bladder also.

Not much happening this way. Yesterday I worked on the crane, discovered I put something on backwards so had to fix that then continued on by adding 3 metal rings (for cabling) and attached the arm to the mast.

After chores today I'll continue working on the crane. Tomorrow is my eye appointment and BP check.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Rick. Love the lake picture. No, nothing new in the train shed. I have been going through some kits I need to get rid of as I will never build them. Mainly due to I have no room for them on the layout. I mentioned in the past, I don't have the time to build a kit that will be a shelf orphan when finished.

Today, I need to make a run to the credit union and Ace Hardware.

That is all I have on my agenda this fine day in Central Florida.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

I've ordered the Envirotex Lite for the pour, arriving next week.  I still need to paint the riverbed and add rocks, etc.

The dogs went to the groomer yesterday, so for a while they're nice, clean and fluffy.  Won't last.  But for now, they're little stuffed toys with attitude.  Here they are mooching for treatsIMG_1959.jpeg:

Rain and fog (atmospheric and frontal lobe) along with mid 50 temp and wind cover todays state of affairs here in MI.

I found gas for $3.99 yesterday. Surely nothing to do with the election manipulation
::)  oh no.

I carted the Doll around yesterday and ended up eating catfish at Cracker Barrel before returning home and resting my eyes for awhile on the pillow, zz'd a short time.

Bench time was cut short when, as often seems to happen lately, my area of attention crashed and made a mess of the area, AND my attitude.  >:(

Indoors today, the car is still in the shop so she has my truck gone off to the antique shop.

Be well all. Enjoy the day.

TomO/Tloc

Good morning from my part of Wisconsin. Just outside the capital City of Madison that was in a pretty good mood yesterday.

Will any of the election results mean anything in the short term (nope) or the long term (doubtful) but you have to hope. I'm a believer in term limits 6 years for Congress and 1 term of the current senate term of 6 years for Senators. Also abolish the congressional health care plan and give them the same as Medicare gets. That would change things. 71% of our County voted, 84% of our City!

Terry is fine, thank you for the good wishes. She is currently baking up a storm! Her goal today is all the squash and zucchini from before 8/1/26 will be used up. She was making her strawberry jams yesterday. All her strawberries grown this season are now used.

High temperature for the day is guessed at as 52f. But no rain! Gas this morning was $4.19 down $.50 per gallon from last week! I did see a $3.99 at a station near the hospital Tuesday. Huge lines to get to a pump and Ai didn't need any.

Dinner on the grill tonight is beef tenderloin, bake potatoes in foil with butter, garlic and sea salt applied. The veggie is to be determined! 5 of us tonight, the grandson and one of the friends, the granddaughter, me and Terry. The tenderloin is grilled rare and then cut in 1/2. The other 1/2 goes back the grill to medium for dinner, the rare goes to be sliced for beef stroganoff and frozen!

The grandson has hockey practice at 9 tonight!

Enjoy your day
TomO
