As I had initiated the build thread 6 years ago, and it got eradicated, I felt it was time to resurrect it. SO, for those of you who have been c&*kblocked over at kitforums for whatever reason, here's the link.

In this thread I will just make a weekly synopsis of what has happened.

John,

I like that building and I'll follow the build from over here!

Tom and others:

There is a limited time offer on the table right now. The kit was retired in late 2013 as sales had peaked, but the run of 500 was not completed.

If Shawn. the owner, can get 5 (preferably 10) kits 'ordered', he will un-retire it AND sell it for $99.00, which is $35.00 off the original price.

This offer is only available for forum members-not limited to the kitforums members who are signed in there now, so that means Tom and others who have had problems logging in can order this as well. It will not be found on the Minuteman web site.

If you want to commit to one, let me know and I will pass it on to Shawn.

SO, as promised, here's the weekly update:

-Still only 3 people interested in this kit.

-Bottles, boxes and interior detailing complete.

To come this week as time permits:

-Adding people

Lighting using Microlumina products and some not Microlumina products.

Weekly update, a day early.

-People added and pictures posted.

-LED project is on hold as I have to wait for new tips for my cordless soldering iron. I have got the knack of soldering the magnet wire down pat, but attaching it to the LED's I need to practice more. I've burned up 3 of the non-Microlumina ones so far.

I'll see you all next year.....waitaminute........

I've found that the gallery glass does best when trying to represent stained glass or something like it.

You mean it's intended use? Why would we want to do that?  ;D ;D ;D

You and my boss must have graduated from the same business school.

Not much to report. It's diorama time (the kit has a sidewalk), but I did get some signs on the building and I found some Krystal Klear that had not solidified so I fixed the windows also.
