Super Detailing / Pipe clasps
May 11, 2020, 04:32:18 PM
I am looking for a detail part that clamps, clasps (?) a pipe to a building wall. Not sure what it is officially called. To go around a round pipe on the side of a building.
Any help? Either HO or O scale.

Many thanks to all those you have viewed and commented.

There are not two better artists out there working in different mediums. Their work inspired this mostly scratch-built diorama. I molded the bricks, hand laid them and tried to weather them like Marcel. The diner was kit bashed from a Twin Whistle kit, I hope you all like it.

Wow Dave.
Thanks for the link. It's going to take some time to go thru it all but it should make for informative reading.

I see these machines advertised a lot lately.
Does anyone have one and use for model railroad purposes? Of so, what do you use them for?

I want to model this diner. Does anybody recognize the font I should use, either in paint or MS Word? Thanks in advance.

Frank, thanks for the photo. I did not realize the diner was part of a kit.

Many thanks.
Do you think they were all scratchbuilt?

For us simple folks, can someone please identify with photos all the diners on George's layout?
Thanks in advance.

Super Detailing / Black brick
November 08, 2018, 03:23:52 PM
I am working on a project that has black accent bricks against a typical red/orange warehouse. I Want to make it look old, but am having problems weathering/dry-brushing the black brick, both for mortar lines and age. Any ideas/suggestions?
Thanks
