Outstanding job on the traps and crates.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

I have to take the car into the garage again. There's a plastic piece the brake pedal pushes against that broke last night. I had to take off a battery cable to turn off the brake lights and not drain the battery overnight.

But, the big news is MOH decided it was time to get a new vehicle, so we now have a used 2026 KIA Carnival with 8k miles on it. It will be MOH's primary vehicle for rescue stuff.

Progress on diorama is at a crawl lately.

Just back from dropping Dad off for his senior trip to Mt. Dora (about 40 minutes away). Today I have to load up the van with MOH's crafts and we're meeting up with her BFF for supper. Saturday is the 39th annual FL skunk show. Everyone is invited.

Also today I need to tighten the nut (unthreading) on faucet in the kitchen.

The sick call went very fast. I was back in a room within 5 minutes and done within 20 minutes! The clinic was empty! What took an hour was the pharmacy filling the 2 prescriptions. I should get a call from the surgery folks within a week (different facility).

After getting home I puttered around the house for a bit before taking a 3 hour nap and still had a decent night's sleep.

Today is floor day. Ugh. Afterwards I'll start on the next step working on the diorama base.

Tomorrow Dad has a senior trip somewhere.

I forgot to mention that today is the U.S. Navy's 251st birthday.

Back from the VA. The doctor is treating it like an abscess. I now have 2 antibiotics to take and a referral to the general surgery folks.

I can't hardly keep my eyes open after the last 2 nights, so nap here I come.

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. I watch the baking show. Rick sick call is normally M-F. This week Tu-F. Of course the VA ER is always open but I don't think the cyst warrants a ER visit.

Feeling no motivation this morning. I took 2 Benadryl last night and I'm still feeling slightly sluggish. Yesterday I painted the POP rocks I had previously made. I re-test fit the large dock after putting on the legs and surprise it's level.

Today after chores I'll continue diorama work.

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. Pretty colors in the photo.

Started out the day with a walk at 78F and really high humidity. Yesterday I got all the legs attached and made some POP rocks for the diorama.

Next up is work on the diorama base making the slope the boat will sit on and under the back edge of the large dock.

I have a cyst on my neck that has become infected. I'm trying antihistamines first before I deal with VA sick call and a dermatologist referral.
