One thing I forgot to mention on the Silver Wood the more coats the darker it gets so be wise when putting it on. I usually wait to make sure it's dry before doing another coat.

The aged white looks fantastic. Nice work on the interior framing. Your masterful skill is producing a marvelous model.
Have fun,

Quote from: friscomike on July 06, 2025, 01:45:22 PMHowdy Larry,Mike the way I do it is with a cut off toothpick. Insert and turn the pick and hold the brush steady.
The second floor looks great. The size of the floor joists looks strong enough to support all those barrels.
I fear barrel bands are the nemesis for most of us. I've been wanting to try a new technique by mounting the barrel on a dowel, holding the paint brush fixed, and rotating the dowel and barrel around.
Have fun,

I see the master framer is at it again.
Great job on the walls and doors, I'm thinking I need to gewt some of that silverwood stain.

Quote from: PRR Modeler on July 05, 2025, 05:17:11 PMJerry everything looks top notch. Love the framing and the colors. Thanks Curt glad you like the coloring & framing.
Quote from: Pennman on July 05, 2025, 05:05:05 PMYou know Jerry, that I now have silverwood stain. I might just have to use some to see if I can achieve what you have shown us. Those wood planks are superb! I know lighting is also a small problem, but the dock pictures (shown earlier) look a little darker than the outside wall pictures, or it may be my eyesight. I was thinking that silverwood stain would be more darker though. Thanks for the nice compliment Rich.
And Larry is correct when saying that you are the master of framing. How did you make the door rollers/pulleys?
