Good Morning all to come,

I can't believe I'm the first poster today. Some chores then trying to track down a intermittent short on the layout.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning Curt and others,

We had a very quiet day yesterday.

Have a great day.

Enjoyed ACL's comment about yesterday. Our day was enjoyable yesterday also, but with three precocious 1/2 Italian grandkids, it surely wasn't quiet.
As part of the "discoveries" in my recent COVID bout, doctors want me to lose 20+ pounds. Doesn't bode well for the new year.
Enjoy your journey back to "normal".
Working on my second million. I gave up on the first.

Good morning.

Great day celebrating Christmas yesterday with my friends Jim (whiskeyriver) and Mary.  Working on the layout today, again found a section of track that needs to be replaced.  Most of the cars I have been using to test track have no problems, but a few derail at this spot.  So, I'll be ripping this track out and replacing it to make this transition between two of the modules smoother.  I did put down some new roadbed where I am making another change in the track, glued and weighted it in place, should be able to finish up  the new track there some time tomorrow.

Everyone have a safe and productive day!

We got a couple inches of snow on top of yesterday's ice.  In a bit, I'll go out and try to run the snowblower (if the snowblower and I can get enough traction!) so there's a chance to melt the ice underneath.  But there's also a chance we'll be stuck here for a couple of days...  :-(

Last night I did a bit of work on the B&M boxcar project, added some slices of Evergreen tubing for poling pockets.  I'll see how this looks once it's painted.

Good Morning Folks;

First week of cruise is over and second half begins. Brother and his partner have gone home so we will be with friends only second half. I hope to spend a lot of time enjoying Tinkercad to make  3D parts for layout this week.

Dave the boxcar is coming along nicely. Great photo. Here is to a great 2022!

Glad to see you posting again and recovering.  That lose 20+ pounds comment could probably be applied to one or two others on the forum as well.  Me for sure.   ::)

Quiet day for use yesterday as well.  Looking forward to several more quiet days this week as well.

From Howard Zanes layout.

Have a great one!

-23C this morning and glad I plowed yesterday. Would not be fun today with the wind and that temperature.  Coldest Christmas ever for us here on the ranch.  This reminds me why we moved from Edmonton and Calgary! Had a nice quiet Christmas get together and plan on a week of left over turkey ham and smoke salmon leftovers and eventually sandwiches.

I've seen those posters on telephone polls:  "I lost 20lbs.  Call xxx - xxxx"  I always want to call that number and say, "I found your 20lbs.  Please come and take it back!"

-23c is -9f.  These days, I'm willing to admit that's cold.  (Used to be my 'cold' point was -30c/-20f.  A sign of getting old.)
