Howdy all,

Yesterday I organized/cleaned the basement so there are locations to drop off the drywall which should be delivered on Tuesday.  Today I plan to pressure wash the front sidewalk/porch (the East TN clay really stains stuff).  And then I will get some real work done.

Morning all.

Spent all day yesterday driving and returning from the western Chicago suburbs to order a van.  Using my Costco and Consumer Reports memberships, I found a dealer willing to knock $4200 off MRSP, but wouldn't do it online, I had to go there.  Though they initially said there'd be no "extras" there were and I had to dicker with them on that.  Some of them I actually wanted, but why would I "undercoat" a new vehicle when the 18 year old same model I'm trading wasn't undercoated and has no rust?   Anyway, hopefully they'll find a new red one for us in a week or two and I can again spend the day picking it up.  Though hopefully not spending an hour and a half at the dealership again.

Nice new space Doug.

Here's a ACL passenger car they had at the Green Bay train museum.  I knew Tom would want a picture.

Good Morning;

Well our week of travel to weddings and receptions is finished and I slept in my own bed last night. Love the pictures, things are coming along Doug and the ACL car is a match of those at our local museum.

After getting the house put back to order I plan to continue cleaning up workbench today. It is good to be home.

Good morning.

Well, the forecast was right, at least it was for yesterday, as it turned out to be a sunny day.  The jury is still out for today though as the fog is hanging in this morning.

I made some slow progress on a couple freight cars yesterday.  Hopefully, I can make a little more progress today as well.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Morning everyone

Doug that is really a nice space you have there.

Nice picture Jeff.  Good luck with the new van when you get it.

Weather in South Jersey sunny/76.  Later on 86.
Not sure what's on the agenda today??

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Morning all,

At least the trip I'm making to the car dealership later on today will be short and sweet.  Simply picking up Jr. who's dropping his car off for service.  ;)

I have a couple of figures I need to put some finishing touches on and then I can move on to the mobile home.  Painting figures isn't exactly my forte but they're coming along.  Think I'll work on that this afternoon.

Have a great one!

Morning all again,

I posted earlier but don't see it now. I guess I forgot to hit the post button.

Anyway, thanks for the ACL photo Jeff. It's now in my file with a thousand others.

I'm in the train shed and don't feel like doing anything. I'm waiting for inspiration or something.

Have a great day ya'll.

Tom, you could fix the broken posts on the "Judge's Quarters"  :-)

I'm heading down to the train room.  I'll do the handrails on the other side on the coal dock, and then start a major pick-up/put-away.

Dave,

I really like your coal dock. Very well done. Yes, the post were fixed.

The Judges Quarters will be located next to and behind the main court house. The JQ will be used on weekends for the Tahope jailbirds.

Dave,

Very nice work on the coal dock.  I'm looking forward to seeing the scenery around it come together.
