Good Morning Folks;

Middle of April already, unbelievable. I got word back from the judges of the 2024 Winter Challenge and will be posting the results elsewhere. I want to thank everyone who took the time to enter and to show off how they approach modeling a diorama.

So grab a cup of coffee and say hi. Today is another great day in central Florida.

Morning Jim

Thanks for the coffee this am.

Looks to be a sunny day in South Jersey maybe 60 if the "Weather Weenies" got it right.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Good afternoon, All!

Temp at the airport is 54, headed for low 60s, temp on the outdoor thermometer is low 70s, and the skies are mostly clear here in the northern mitten.  Glorious day!  This all will be followed by thunderboomers tonight and tomorrow.  But no WGFA!!!!  Yay!

Op session last night about twenty-five miles from here was lots of fun.. Needed that!

Make it a great day, all, and stay safe!

It's a nice sunny day, so I'll take the dogs for a walk.  I'm having a hard time getting motivated to do anything on the layout.  I'm not quite sure why that happens.  The scenery project behind Lamsons is waiting a couple of parts to arrive, I'm still thinking about the full set of things I want to do there.  There are a couple other things I could tackle, besides more pick-up/put-away, including the one story wood warehouse building in the Lamson complex, or adding the actual track and switch machine for the spur to Lamsons.

Or maybe I'll do what I usually do, go read a book...

add  I took the dogs for a long walk, talked to some neighbors, and then organized scenery materials.  An exciting day in the train room not.  But it needed to be done.

Afternoon all,

Spent some time at the workbench today. Started a small FOS kit. I have a slightly larger one lined up next.

Have a great one!

Good evening, all. I'll set out some cookies and non-caffeinated beverages for anyone who's still poking around the Forum.  It was a beautiful Maine Spring day at Seashore: sunny, some breeze and shirtsleeves temperatures by midday.  I helped our 2-person Overhead department build and install about 30 feet of new overhead in our 2023 carbarn.  That brings it to about 25% complete. One reason it's going slow is Overhead has about 3 miles of existing wire to maintain, day jobs and a 2+ hour drive to the site. Another is we can't work on a track till it's cleared, and our Shop crew has been busy in the new barn all winter.
