Gorgeous,  simply gorgeous.

Curt,

Thank you for watching my progress. Another photo to follow on my first attempt on the waterfall. So much to do, so little time.

Good evening everyone,

After going to the gym, and a few other stops, I am back in the train room working on water. Specifically, the waterfall is comprised of two elements. (1) Where the water that has breached the top of the spillway to the rock fill at the base of the spillway, and (2) The lower fall is from the rock at the lower water level to the falls. I have completed the lower falls (2) and will be starting the upper fall.  i have added a product that I got from Don Ledger. It is some form of clear fibre. I use it to illustrate the spray created by the water touching the lower rocks. The photo illustrates the foam against the rocks and the Scenic Express water effects spilling over the rocks. These will be painted with white paint once everything dries. So here is step one, step two later. Enjoy.Frank / Erieman

Well another long day is about to end. Thought I would post a partially finished waterfall. As I mentioned, this waterfall drops from the spillway to the rocks below, then another drop to the water below. Just another interesting feature. So-o-o, here is a pic. Remember that all of this material will dry clear, so then I have to paint it white. One waterfall almost done, then onto #2, and then the granddaddy of them all over in Essex Falls. This is really going to eat up a lot of time doing the last waterfall. I'm starting to get nervous!!! Enjoy the pic. More tomorrow.

Good Morning All,

Day 35 in my countdown. In the train room finishing up on the Little Falls waterfall #1. There are two falls here. I started on the smaller one since this is my first time with these materials. So far, so good. I have completed the waterfall and need to let it dry clear, Then I can apply some white paint to highlight the waterfall and then it will be truly done. I am liking the process.

I have started on the really big waterfall over on the other side of the mountain in Essex Falls. First application is Epoxy resin applied with a syringe representing water running down the rocks. So far, so good. I'll take a picture later in the day. In the meantime, here is a pic of the waterfall #1, less the final coat of paint.

As promised, here are a few photographs of Frank's layout from my visit this week.  Frank asked me to post a few photographs - as I was going through them I think I got carried away - I just kept picking another one and then another one. Oh well we love pictures - right.
