Frankie,

What great news!  Congratulations Arizona boy!  See, hard work pays off.  Good luck with buying a new house with wider doors for your head. ha. Thanx Thom...

Tom,

thanks for your comments. Yes, a lot of  hard work goes into a layout, but it has been all worth it. I hope you enjoy the issue.

Thanks Greg,

It has been 21 years since i started this project and there is probably another 4 plus, if i have it in me. It will be fun to see it in print. Lou Sassi did a wonderful job taking the photos. Hope you enjoy the issue.

Good Morning John,

I feel the same way even though I see the actual railroad every day. Go figure.

21 years and I am still not done. I recall someone saying the if you finished your railroad before you die, you planned poorly. I hope that's not true. See the layout in person is much better that photos, so you guys will have to plan a road trip.

Frank,

What a great honor for you and the Morristown & Erie Railroad to have the layout featured in the 2018 GMRR.

Very well deserved my friend, congratulations.

Good Morning Tom,

Thank you for your kind words. As you know, this can be a life long passion and the article only helps to reconfirm the passion that you can now share with others. It is always a lot of fun to see the reaction as people come into the room for the first time and then walk around viewing all the detail. My wife even gets into it by telling all the stories that are depicted on the layout. And of course, it is friends like you and other forum members that help with all the many facets of the hobby. You will get your turn in the magazine in the coming years as well, my friend.

Good Evening All,

My neighbor and I have been shooting video of our layouts. As NMRA Director of the Arizona Division, I am responsible for a regional convention in 2019. As part of our publicity of the convention, we will be taking and posting layouts that will be on tour. Here, i hope , are a couple of videos of my layout. One is a bit out of focus and we know it, We will be taking more over the next couple of weeks so stay tuned. In the meantime, enjoy these two videos.

Frank,

Both videos are good but the second one is better. I like the working traffic signal in the second video. Great stuff.
