Great news to hear that your layout is being photographed. Maybe East End Market can be on the cover, just saying....

Dan,

I like the way you think!!! I have taken photos of the structure and will be bringing them to the EXPO. They are 13 x 19. Almost life size. You can really see the detail.

Here is a photo update overlooking Chester ( in the foreground) and Little Falls in the distance. As you can see, there is a lot of scenery to complete. I figure one sq. ft of scenery completed  day equals, but who is counting. Nose to the grindstone and full speed ahead. Enjoy the progress pic.

Frank,

Great speaking with you this morning. And, thank you for the small package. I'll certainly use them.

The birds eye view of Chester is wonderful. Looks great. Now, I need to get back to baking the cookies.

Andy,

Here is another photo. I do not yet have a name for this area, but it has several buildings including East End Market, Tucker & Cook, Duffy's tire garage, a trolley line and station, etc. I still need to paint and ballast the trolley line and install trolley poles. So, very soon.

Frank...

That is a great photo.  The corrugated roof building in the fore ground is just great.

Thanx

Did you ever notice how many towns are named after their water towers ! ?

Thanks Bob,

I scratchbuilt the building a couple of years ago and took "Best in Show" the roof is removeable and shows all roof trusses as well. Sometimes the small buildings take the longest to build.

Jerry,

glad you like the photo. Now I need to find trolley line to add to the scene, a couple of trolley poles some ballast and this area will be done.

Hey Frank,

Layout looks awesome. Couple of questions:

1 - That 3/4 story white building with the brick fireplace running up the side is quite neat looking...which kit is that or is it scratch built?

2 - The trees in the scene look really good. What material did you use for the leaves?

Thanks for sharing!

Alan,

Thanks for stopping by. The answer to your first question is: the building is  SRMW Tucker & Cook. Placement of the ancillary buildings are different that the positioning that Bob used. I have attached a couple of other pics for your viewing.

#2-The trees are Sage Brush trees that I purchased a long time ago. I use  fine light green poly fibre and then cover it lightly with Scenic Express Super leaf light or medium green. I like the results.
