Good looking kit and great build..... 8)

Thanks Greg. This kit is a tough one, especially since I have made so many changes. Why do I do this?

If I had to guess, I'd have to say that you're a glutton for punishment, like someone else we know.  ;)

Greg,

He must be busy in the train room after having company for several days. I guess we are just lucky to have wives that let us play all day in the train room, and ,of course, be retired.

Frank,

Happy to see you back on the Lime Company build. Beautiful model my friend. I'd stay longer but need to get back to modeling here.

Top of the morning Tom,
Glad to hear that you are back in the train room working feverishly on you wonderful layout.

Lime company is coming to a close. It has been a long trek. I am hoping that it will be done later in the week. I keep finding details that need to be added. Structures always look good off the layout. Hopefully it will not loose its appeal when on the layout. Pics on that later. I will be back on the build later this morning after I finish a small house project for the boss.  Have great day and talk to you soon.

Good Morning Tom,

Here are two updated photos of the Lime Company model build. Almost done. I need to finish a couple of railings and install a hopper load. It is currently drying and probably won't be dry until sometime this morning. I also need to add some dirt at the loading dock and then this is ready to drop in the layout. I'll take a couple of pics once it is installed. This has been a long slow build. Enjoy the pics.

Tom, Greg, Ger, James and those that follow. Well the Lime Company model is done, or almost done. Just kidding. Here are several photos of the model before I move it to the layout tomorrow. I got this crazy idea as I was almost done. Why not show the rock falling from the conveyor into the hopper. With a thin piece of acetate, super glue and the rock, I glued them onto the acetate, then glued it to the conveyor. So take a look at the pic with the straight on view of the hopper and there it is. Kind of cute. Enough of this. Hope you all enjoy the pics of the model. I will takes some pics over the next couple of days of the model in its final placement.

Good Morning Tom and those that follow,
The Lime Company structure has been moved to its final location. Whew! Final scenery can now start. Here are a few pics and I will post more as I work on the scenery that surrounds the building. Enjoy.

Jan,
Thank you for your kind words.
Now the bad news, Arizona is about 2,000 miles west of Altoona. The good news is that Scottsdale and the surrounding cities have over 400 golf courses of all skill levels, lots of great model railroads to see, so you be the judge. You are welcome to visit anytime you get out this way.
