Frank,

Good afternoon my friend. The T&C structure looks great, fantastic job! I finally got my "Y" reverse tracks wired and boy what a pain. When I understood what was needed it was really simple.

Anyway just wanted to check in. I'm fixing to add to my Delwin's Boat Storage thread. Hosting a SGB meet tomorrow and that should be fun.

Frank,
Nice job on the SRMW Tucker & Cook Build.
Mine is only 25 percent done, painted everything, but no assembly yet.

Tom,
Thanks for stopping by. Still have to finish the details around the Tucker & Cook structure. Sounds tomorrow with the SBG guys should be fun. I sent you an email with our newsletter. You might want to share the layout tours with the guys. The issue is large - 98 pages. Starting to develop the construction plan for East end Market. Need to get some info to Raymo.

Tom,

Thanks for stopping by. Glad you like the build. As you know, the structure is only one part of the project. Now I have all the misc stuff around the building and the scenery. The pink foam base will be completely detailed, ground cover, dirt, grass, trees, etc. And then there will be six vehicles in the scene.

How about posting some pictures of what you have done to date. We love pics!!!

Frank,
I checked your division NMRA newsletter link you posted on today's Mother's Day thread      http://azdiv-nmra.org/
Excellent job ! Also reviewed the photo pages of the newsletter and congratulations on the 2 Best of Show awards you won and the 3 merit awards received for the Duffy's Tires structure and the 2 Yakima Apple Complex builds. Looks like this year's fall PCR NMRA - Scottsdale AZ. - September 2015 Regional Convention is loaded with things to do. The promotion video is also well done.

Tom,

Thank you for your kind words. I have been quite busy of late working on a lot of details for the convention. I am also trying to have about half my layout scenry fully done by September. That is a wish, because there are several other items that have to be accomplished as well. Scenery takes a lot of time to do a small area, and there are the trees. Whew, so much to do and so little time.

Hope that things are going well with you. Have a wonderful weekend, what is left.

Good Morning All,

I spent some time in the train room continuing on my Tucker & Cook build. The structures have been rearranged to fit a specific area, as defined by the foam base. I have been using the foam base technique for some time now. Should I wish to change the layout or move, all ( well almost all ) of the structures can be easily be removed from the layout. There is still some ground cover to be completed, then lots of details around the three buildings ie: barrels, pallets, a billboard, several vehicles ( cars and trucks) and then trees. Probably another week or so. Then I am onto East End Market. That building needs to be completed by September 1st.
Enjoy the pics and have a great day.

Greg,
Thanks for the kind words. Still a lot to do until finally complete. The closer they are to the aisle, the more detail has to be added. This model will be right on the edge at about 52 inches from the floor, so I have to add a lot of detail. Building the structure is the easy part. sanding, painting and assembly of all the details is the tough part and probably as expensive as the SRMW kit.
Working as much as possible to get this and a couple of other structures and as much scenery done for the September convention. Also will be starting East End market for the contest room at the convention.  Here is  link to the PSR Convention site:   http://www.psrconvention.org/PHX2015/index.html

Thanks Jan, around here I'm known for my pigeon poop or at least the application of it on my structures. I'm not into the details, expecting it to take another couple of weeks to finish all the details. Stay Tuned.

It's looking great Frank!

Thanks John. I've been working on and off the this build. trying to get it done for the division meet in June. As you know, now I'm down to the nitty gritty details and that's the time consuming part of the build.

Good Evening Guys,

Made some progress on the Tucker & Cook module today. As you will see, I constructed a billboard with lighting (non functioning). electrical lines and more scenery details. Still a lot of trash, etc.. to prime and paint. And then there will be the vehicles. The photos show the building module in its final location. It is next to a scratch built structure / Duffy's Garage. The scenery between the different modules will be blended soon. As I see this area, on the opposite side of the trolley tracks will be East End Market ( which will be my next major build). East End Market starts next month and should be a fun build. So enjoy the pics.
