Frank, I've downloaded the new photos I took last week to my computer. I'll send them in the next few days. Raymo

Thanks Dan,

I'm looking forward to them. I have ordered the clapboard siding and it should be here later in the week. In the meantime, I will be adding dimensions to the drawing so I can plan the pieces before I start cutting. This is going to be a fun build and hopefully I can complete this project by mid September for the PSR Convention. Metal roofing is already in the build box. I keep all parts in a build box to maintain order. My workbench is always such a mess. I will be looking at the windows and see what I have and what I need this week. The chimney will be made from laser cut brick material from Monster Modelworks. I cut multiple pieces to make a larger chimney. I used this technique with the Chester Station.

Thank you in advance for all your help. Did you find any other structures of interest?

Frank / Erieman
I did, but I need to go back with my camera and take pictures. Alot of neat stuff in Barre Vt. Raymo

Dan,

Thank you for all the recent photo update on East End Market. Can't wait to start this puppy. I look forward to the information on the garage. I continue to move the white model around to find the best position for the structure. A quick white model of the garage will confirm the final location.  The recent photos will really help with the build. i will be making a detail board of all the building features so I don't forget anything. Coming soon, "the beginning".

Mark,
Thanks for your kind words. I think I achieved the roadway path that you described in your earlier posts. I need to fill in between the two modules with some sculptamold, a little paint, ground cover, road material and a few bushes and it should look a lot like your comments. As I mentioned to John Siekirk, I am currently assembling the materials for the build. I also need to sketch the walls ans supports of the structure to verify the components to be cut. I am probably a week or two away from starting East End Market. check the scratchbuild thread.

If it will help till I send the drawing, the foot print of the Garage is 28 feet wide by 22 feet deep. DJR

Thanks Dan,

I'm gathering materials and should be starting the build next week at the earliest. Lots of details to design and build. also playing with the paint peeling on the structure. Need to decide if I want the base color underneath the current color.

Taking a short break to work on some scenery. I have been sitting too long and it feels good to get up and stretch my body. You are looking at the town of Little Falls on the river route. The mainline from Chester to Ironia runs above, in the front to the right. most of the structures in Little Falls are complete, so I decided make a quick push on the scenery. This is the relaxing part, although using the topside creeper does have its moments. There is also a small portion of scenery to finish along the dual mainline from Chester to Ironia, as seen in both photos. Look for the butter tub full of clothes pins and some cardboard strips. Want to fill in this area while i can and also to stay out of the heat. Yard work in only for those that wake up early, real early or those that want to get burned. Enjoy the pics.

I see more tree making in your future.  It always amazes me how much better the structures look when the scenery and background is added. Looking great!

John,

you are so right. As you know, I bought another box of trees and want to fill this area before September. The changes in the photo are about a day and a half of time. Probably another day to complete the plaster mat, cardboard and sculptamold, then paint. All the rest of ground cover and rock painting will be done on an occasional basis. It looks better already. I'll put in a few more hours tonight.
