Fifty four days and counting. I reviewing a section of the layout, i saw a blank area that needed filling. Kind of a dumb statement considering the layout is not totally done. As many of you know, I really like the SRMW structures. One that I did not  buy was Robinson's Electric, so I decided to make my own version. Over the past couple of days, I have been cutting, gluing, etc. the basic structure. Here are a couple of pics. This building will join a couple of other buildings on the north side of the street. This should finish off the scene.

Okay guys, here is where the building will be going. This pic was taken early this morning and a lot of progress on the structure has been made since then.

Good morning Andy,

What can I say, it was the only object handy to put the model on. Building is progressing nicely and should be able to post some pics on the layout later today. Thanks for stopping by.

Greg,
You very funny. No people yet. And no floors yet either. People are last, depending on location and how many people the wife has painted. She has been slacking off recently. More posts later today, I hope.

Progress today, The majority of the structure is complete. The front windows are in, but need painting and glazing. Window shades need to be added. I ran out of corbels, but they are on order. The back stone / brick wall is next. I will also be adding a billboard on the building roof. So, it should be done in the next day or two and then back to scenery.

Frank,

I really like the populated look of the M&ER. You are doing a fantastic job on all of it. I appreciate you taking the time to post the progress photos.

Fantastic job, really fantastic.
