Hi All:

Kit has been removed from old base and put on a new 1/2" plywood base. 2 photos before and after.

Karl,

Beautiful build Karl. I believe the plywood base is always best. I've even seen Gator Board warp although it is said it won't. :'(

Thanks for the update.  I have always used 3/4 inch plywood but have been playing with the idea of going to the foam board. I used the pink foam 1 inch thick for the Brambell's build.

Hi Tom & john:

Thanks for the compliments. Was having problems building the chain link fence as I don't solder. Gluing just doesn't work. So here's what I did.

I'm using the concrete base from the kit with Central Valley Wood fencing on the top. This is prototype. It's called wood fencing on concrete retaining walls. Looked it up on Google. Also added advertising along the front. Fence is about half done. Waiting for more to arrive from Central Valley. Here's A Photo.

The wood fencing looks more "in place" for this model.  Chain link, in my opinion, is too cold looking.  Wood has more character. WELL DONE!!!

Hi Donato:

Thank for the compliment. I like the wood better also.

Karl,

Nice tip with the fence on the concrete wall. I've never thought of it although I've seen it with the chain link fence.

Very well done. I like the look.

Hi All:

All The casting are on the model except for the telephone pole. Threw a few FOS Scale background kits in for fun. Here's a photo. Hope you like it.
