John,

The Grid Map is a very good idea. It gives us the ability to actually better visualize where the structures are on the layout.

I have several photos of the area John is showing. As he mentioned, this area is in the entry hallway to the F&SM. I had a hard time getting my camera adjusted to the lights here and I couldn't get the yellow out of my pictures.

John's photos of this area are wonderful. I switched cameras and came back to this area but didn't take photos of the area he is showing now.

I'll post photos as he moves further down the hall.

Great stuff here John.

The lighting in this area is a really nice affect when you see the F&SM in person - it is a challenge to photograph.  I used - very long exposure times. Even the iPhone needed a tripod to get a good shot.

I'm making a small correction to the documentation on the pictures tonight - the area to the left of the door as you walk into the layout is not part of Wellington - it is called Muddville.

Isn't that where Casey struck out?

I believe you are correct - I wonder if that's where George got the name?

John,

Thanks for posting the fantastic pictures of George's layout.  It helps us all get ideas for our layouts.  Can't wait to see the video that Frank/Eireman took.
