My next scene I will be working on is of a sand and gravel dealer that was in the town of Mauston, hence the name Mauston Sand and Gravel. I will be using a Walthers bulk load conveyor kit and scratch building an office, scale house, and the  gravel bins. This will sit across the alley from the Co-op store, in real life it was a few blocks away.
I have the base set into the foamboard, had to trim it some for the backdrop.

The foamboard had a slight dip in it against the back drop, I will fill that in with a little chalk.

Installed the railings and the lower conveyor belt.

scratchbuilt the holding bins, now to get them stained and weathered.

This is looking pretty cool. I like the way you are modifying it to fit the space.  I love scratchbuilding and those bins look great!

Andy,

That's going to be a very neat looking addition to the layout. Looks great at this point.

That's guy's for looking in, still a ways to go.

Moving along at a steady pace. I have the bins stained and in place, the spur track ballasted, gravel crossing in and a small shed in the background.

Now to fill those bins up.

I have the bins filled up, the second conveyor is in, and two different loaders. Will be starting on the office scratch build next.

I have the wall blanks cut out using 1/16 thick basswood lap siding.

Tom, it might take awhile using 1/87 scale dump trucks. Thanks for stopping in.
