The only problem with those plain little clean buildings on the right side of the tracks with no weathering is that they are usually BORING !

Hi Mike:

Idon't say no weathering. All my buildings have litght weathering. I just do'nt like every building falling apart. If that's what you like I have no problem with it.

Hi All:

Here's the final photos of Cookson's Soap. Had to replace the chimney as I lost my Tichy Train Group one that came with the kit. Can't find it anywhere and I don't have any extra of the plastic kit version. Added some weathering to the roof and the platform. This is the repainted platform also. Used Floquil Aged Concrete.

Here's a few photos.

Looks great Karl , and I too believe that not every building should be weathered as if it is 50 years abandoned.
I love photo's, don't we all.

Hi Jan:

Karl does great builds no matter how much weathering he does. He has taught me most of my modeling skills over the years, and we've become good friends through several of these forums and time we've spent together at many shows.

My comment wasn't a criticism but rather my lame attempt at humor. As usual Karl, some great modeling on this one.

Good looking structure, Karl.  Nice color scheme.

Karl,

I still like the structure build whether it is weathered or not. (I've waiting to use that line for months.)  No matter how much it is weathered it has to have some consistency relating to the age and exposure to the environment that surface has. This is why I prefer to do final weathering to surfaces when the structure is in the diorama or on the layout.
Keep on doing what you are doing .... It would be nice to see how some of them look in their final resting place.
