I used my punch to "punch" holes in the roofs for the vent pipe.

Reading Bob was kind enough to give me a bottle of Gallery Glass simulated liquid leading.

Bob and I use this for the pitch around the pipes. It can also be used for other areas on buildings.

Mine was a little dried out and thick. I added just a bit of warm water and gave it a vigorous shaking.  I then squirted a little on the hole.

Continued in a few.

I then inserted a pipe into the hole and through the liquid leading.

Now all five shacks have a vent pipe. I still need to add more roof weathering

Well, for the purposes of this thread the fishing shacks are finished.

I dry brushed the roofs with Floquil Antique White and then did a light dusting with some light gray pastels.

Any other photos of them will be part of the regular layout build.

Tom:

You did an outstanding job of reproducing the shingles on the roofs of those shacks. Very nicely done.

Stay cool and run steam...... 8) 8)

Jim,

I appreciate the kind words. The stack of loose boards are going to be glued to the ties between the rails on the bascule bridge. I didn't want to loose them so I put them where they will go.

It looks like you are making good use of that extra time in the train room.

John,

Sorry, I didn't see your last post. Yes, the extra time came in handy.
