Hey Buddy:

Looks really great. Love the colors & details.

Karl

Karl,

Thanks, much appreciated. I wanted to get a little red, white and blue in for the political season. 8) 8)

Tom, finally done. Been through CA glue yourself to everything routine. Mt fingernails have CA polish that give them a such nice shine. :)

The kit had lots of elements that make an interesting mini scene. You may want to consider toning down the blue roof lettering to give a washed out bleached look. Do you have lights-on photo of the scene?

Marty

Marty,

I have little shinny spots on my fingernails from CA as well.

The blue "GAS & BAIT" actually isn't as bright as in the photos. I lightened the pictures to better show the details and remove some shadows.

I have one more light to install over the sign. I'll post pictures of the lights when finished.

Appreciate you following along.

Not to be picky, but where are the main gas supply tanks?

Jim

Only from an engineer..... ;D

Greg,

Appreciate you stopping by and yes, only from an Engineer. But then again it is Jim. ;D ;D ;D

Awesome job on the build and placement of the gas dock.

Jim

Jim,

Thanks, much appreciated. Not to be picky back, buy did you not see the underground piping to the gas dock?

Tom ;D

OOPS, I missed that.  Should have known that you would tie into the Tampa pipe line.

I finally got the mini LED installed in the Tichy Train Group lamp reflector. The sign is now lighted as is the area between the two sub structures.

You can view how I installed the wiring here.

I love photo's, don't we all.

Soldering leads to teeny, tiny LED's and then putting them in those Tichy lamp reflectors is a real pain in the you-know-what but it's well worth the effort when you see them lit up like that.  Well done my friend.  Very, very cool.   8)  8)  8)

a-HA! So THAT's why the Preparation H hasn't been helping me all this time!

Nice job Tom! Looks great. Glad you didn't have to run over to Greg's for the extinguisher.
