Cool looking building.  I will be following this.

With the paint set up, I pulled out the sign and sanded the backside of it with fine sand paper.

Raymo

I then applied a piece of transfer tape.

Raymo

I cut the sign down and applied to the building, burnishing it into the clap boards

Raymo

Then another layer of weathering was applied by lifting some random clap boards and dry brushing Ceramacoat Drizzle Grey onto the walls.

Raymo

When that dried, I then applied a light A&I wash. It was at this point I realized I forgot to put nail holes on the water side wall. :o  2 steps forward one step back :-[  Up next, windows and assembly.

Looking great!  I really like Groovie's kits, and you're doing a very nice job on this one!  Keep the photos coming.

Great job so far Raymo! I think Groovy has some great structures.

Tom ;D

Yes, Groovy does make some great structures.  ;D

Raymo

When all 4 walls are put together the right way they make a basic box. ;D

Raymo

When it comes time to door the windows and doors, I like to cut them from the sprues and clean them up before paint.

Raymo

I save the nice cardboard advertisements that kit manufacturer's send out with their shipments for painting these items.

Raymo

The windows and doors were painted with some white primer. I'll let that set up and then start the weathering.

Did you use a rattle can to paint the white primer?
