I'm trying to be very careful; I want this to come out great.

Candy, are you going to make a whole diorama or just the building?

I have a place for it and I want to detail the scene.

Hi Candy:

Looking good. Like your colors.

Thanks Karl.   It's Buttermilk with heritage brick trim

(i'm just catching up with this.)  I agree the yellow is a bit garish, even for a strip club :-)  I think your choice of colors will work quite well.

(p.s.  I've been spending a lot of time driving through CT between VA and MA/NH.  CT drivers are terrible!!)

Candy, here's the original msg with Raymo's thought, which he posted on 9/12 in the Baggage Car. It just took off from there.

"...Good Morning forumite's. At the Narrow Gauge Convention, I had conversations with Jimmy and Jaime about doing a "Build Thread Challenge" to try and get some build threads on the forum for people to use for reference. Jaime's only concern would it would fall flat like his Tyco building challenge a couple years ago. Here's what I'm thinking, Build anything, just do a build thread, that's the challenge. No judging, no prizes, just helping other people providing them with a reference for their builds. It can be anything from a Bar Mills Basic to a Fine Scale kit. We would start Oct. 1st and the challenge would go to the end of January. My first thought was New Years but my thinking is December is a blur for most of us with the holidays so modeling takes a step back. Let me know if you think it will work, Raymo..."

There is also a thread in the Forum Contest section.
