Starting early this morning, I continued the work on the Caldwell Junction structures and scenery.

The garage structure is raised and on the diorama it had a dirt ramp leading up to the garage doors.

I made a small ramp out of A&I stained 8x8s. Added some white glue in the center and partially filled it with sand.




I wet the sand and added matte medium. While it was drying I move to the other in line buildings.

I removed the blue painters tape and cleaned the foot prints.

I then added the building.



You can also see how the green garage fits with the ramp.

I added a short section of track for the hand car shed.

I'll fast forward here to say the hand car shed track was ballasted, the rest of the grass scenery and dirt was added. I have many many additional details to be added to this area but the basic scene is complete.



Yes, that is a Raymo truck. The dirt ramp turned out really well.

The roof on the hand car shed needs to be touched up a little.



A few MOW pieces of rolling stock were set out on the siding.
