Excellent job on the reverse loop. The trees really do blend into the backdrop. A nice thing you can do with your bulletproof track is move scenery close to the track without damaging it messing with derailed cars.

The reverse loop is looking sweet Tom!  Love those trees and how they blend nicely with the backdrop.  Will have to start calling you Tommy Appleseed!

Good Morning Tom,

Been off the thread a few days. Been driving up to the 37th Narrow Gauge Convention and too tired to look at the forum and catch up on your progress. Whoa, my friend, you are going like crazy. Everything is looking marvelous. Really nice progress on the scenery around the ovalex. Love the trees. I will be posting some pics of the convention. Should be fun. Our first time. Yakima Apples will be in the contest room tomorrow. Talk to you soon. Keep up the beautiful work.

I thought your first layout was great, this one is going to be/is even better!  I've gone backwards about 29 pages and love what I have seen so far.  That river scene is very very well done.  Bill's palm trees look terrific and are a prefect fit!   I'll be picking it back up on page 30 tomorrow.

Nice job!

Leo and Lorrie,

Thank you for the very generous and kind compliment. I've really enjoyed this layout better than any previous ones. Also, I've become much better at scenery than the last one as well.

I'll be doing a post on how we did the palm trees later this month. It will be on this thread.

Thank you again. Hope you like the other pages.

Curt,

Thank you. I'm very pleased how this one turned out. Time to build the oil facility.

Karl,

Thanks very much. If I can get my layout to look as great as your structures I'd be one happy camper. 8)

Mark,

Very much appreciate your support and checking in. The trees do blend very well with Joey's backdrop.

I've been called many names so T A won't hurt one bit. ;D ;D ;D

Frank,

I've been off the grid a few days myself.

I haven't heard how you or Steve did in the contest room. What's the news?

I've done some work this afternoon and will be back on the layout full time Monday afternoon.

Hey all,

I appreciate all the PMs and emails asking if all is well with me. IT IS and thanks for your concerns. I didn't realize the number of folks who want their daily dose of the layout progress. Not to worry, I'm still at it.

The past two weeks have been full of several Doctor appointments both for my Babe and myself. Pam has had many visits and re-visits to the doctor in relation to her cataract surgery. She had the ocular implants in both eyes and sees 20/20 now.

I've had my follow up appointments for all my doctors as well. All is well but certainly an inconvenience to make all the appointments in the middle of the day.

Also, Pam's very good friend passed away this past week after a long illness. :'(  She was only 62. I've been helping Pam with that issue as well.

I'll be back to full duty this up coming week.

Again, thanks for all those who checked in.
