8 hours Tom, 8 hours! Glad to see the mudflaps made it back on the Mack before the State D.O.T. pulled him over.

Dan,

These vehicles are wonderful. Yes, the truck shop got the flaps back on and in good shape. I didn't see any PO PO's but that don't mean they ain't around the next tree or bill board.

Thank you for the vehicles and I'll send more  $$$ when you have any others.

Thanks for the nice comments. I got the idea for the bus after finding a photo of one in a junkyard out west.

Well, I managed to get some work done after having the crud for the better part of two weeks.

I did more work on the quonset hut building. The kit comes with a plastic deck that fits on the left front and left side.

I glued the two pieces together and used a piece of scrap spruce to hold the bottom as the glue dried.

I did a test fit to make sure the two deck pieces were square to the structure.

It all fit nicely.

I then stained some HO scale strip wood and glued them to the plastic deck. I used scale 2x8's for front and side edges. I used scale 2x6's for the decking.

Quonset Hut?
Did you say Quonset Hut?
The best beer I ever had in my life was a cold bottle(s) of San Miguel ((better known by its real name Sam Magoo)) with/for lunch at Naval Station Subic Bay, Republic of the Philippines after a very long stretch as a member of the Tonkin Bay Yacht Club.
I know that's not railroad related, but ah, the memory!
Thanks, Tom.
Working on my second million. I gave up on the first.

I just had a nice hour visit from Reading Bob. He stopped by on the way to bowling.

I used HO scale 6x6's for the support posts. I glued the support posts in place and then glued the deck sub structure in place. While that was drying I painted the quonset hut roof.

I used Floquil Polly Scale Aged White full strength on the roof. I then applied one coat of Hunterline A&I light gray to the roof. When dry, I used various shades of gray, beige, and burnt sienna Pan Pastels on the roof.

Continued in a few.
