Before anyone asks, here is what the inside of the turnout panel looks like.

I then decided on a 6" wide by 9.25" high toggle panel.

I measured it on a scrap piece of Masonite and made the cut.

I clamped the toggle panel in place and rechecked to make sure I had enough space for the toggles.

The panel fit flush against the bottom of the second level but had no way to secure the top. I cut a piece of 1X1 and glued/screwed it to the bottom of the second level 1X4.

I drilled four holes in the panel, 2 top and 2 bottom. I then used a larger drill bit and made a little counter sink in the panel so the screws would fit flush when screwed to the layout.

A cold Diet Pepsi is needed at this time. Back in a few.

I'm using single pole - single throw toggles switches from Miniatronics. I had them on hand but any SPST toggle will work.

I measured and centered an area for the toggle switches. At that time I drilled four holes.

I used a 7/32" bit to drill the holes.

I'm using an 18 volt switching power supply from Ngineering. I got mine from Slim. You can certainly use a 12 power supply but due to the number of LEDs I have on this panel, I went with the 18 volts.

Since that panel was installed, I've added two additional toggles as shown below.

I've run out of time for today.

Tomorrow I'll explain and show how I turned on terminal strip into one that will handle up to eight sets of LED lights.

Not adding anything today. I re-injured my hamstring. Orthopedic Surgeon visit tomorrow morning. Not sure when I'll get back to this thread.

Yes, but the injury wasn't due to any yard maintenance. Just saying.
