I'm glad you are enjoying the photographs. In the USA the Narrow Gauge Convention is the best event for visiting great layouts, in my opinion. Each year it is held in a different area of the country. I will post a list of the upcoming host cities in the next few days. They usually have 25 or so layouts to visit over a 3 day period. I have pictures going back about 25 years of this event. Yes - that is a lot of layouts. I'm getting ready to start the finishing work on areas of my layout and I'm going back and sorting through the pictures - refreshing the pictures I have in my mind and updating what I liked and didn't like about each layout. The pictures I'm sharing here were all taken freehand (no tripod) and in most cases where taken for me to capture a feature for future reference. The are not always the best angle or lighting conditions because I'm trying to stay out of the way of others that are visiting the layout at the same time. I find them useful for my own modeling and thought posting them here on the forum might be useful to some of our members.
