Hi Lynn:

Sorry to hear you had to tear your shingles off. What happened?

Hi A;;

Just finished shingling the walls. Used double faced tape instead of whit glue. made the job much easier and way less time consuming. Here's a photo.

Hi All:

I will be changing the colors on my build. George Sellios and I discussed it. I suggested earth shingles and green windows and doors with depot buff stucco and he liked the idea.

Karl your shingles look great using the 3m tape as an adhesive, can you tell me how do you manage to keep the shingles inline?

Hi Lynn:

OK here's how I do it.  I cut a strip of shingles off long enough. Then I place the strip between the the thumb & fore finger of my right hand. I place the thumb & fore finger of the other hand on the strip and pull lightly while also pulling downward straightening the strip of shingles. This will take the curve out of  the shingle strip. I then place the strip on the guide line pulling and pressing down as I go. When that's done I use a pop sickle stick to burnish the row down  where it hits the double faced tape. This works rather well for me. Hope you dcan figure it out.
