This is the backside of the diorama - starting with the detailing on this side. It will rotate 180 degrees and move back about 6 feet for it's final position.

I'm happy with the colors - final detailing and I hope to have it in place by the end of the week. Please stay tuned.

Can't wait to see the Golden gel totally dry on the falls.

I used mod podge on the falls that you see so far.  It will dry clear but it will take a few days based on the progress that it made overnight. I bought some clear acrylic chalk to use for the falling water.  This is a Jon Addison technique - I attended his clinic at either the Narrow Gauge Convention or the EXPO. Sorry, if someone else invented it before Jon - I learned it from him. ;)  On second thought, I have a lot of water falls to make and I'm going to also try the Golden gel to compare the two techniques.

I'm adding the outside lights - it requires some directional drilling and some little people to dig the trenches.

Today, I will be taking a closeup picture of each side of both the structures on this diorama. I mark them up on my iPad to create my fix list before the diorama will be put in place on the layout and the scenery material will be added. A dab of paint here, scrap the glue of there, and a piece I missed over there, and this will be done.
