I made a second story floor which will also serve as the ceiling for the cafe.

I marked on the underside/ceiling side where I wanted to install the LED lighting.

This is a view of the second story floor. The LEDs will be placed on each corner where marked. Of course I'll need to drill four small holes for the LED wiring.

More in a few.

Okay, I drilled the holes and marked the polarity for the LEDs. I was going to use the copper tape, A LA Reading Bob style but remembered giving it all to Reading Bob.

Not to worry, I'll just use the conventional wiring method.

I'll do a little backing up here.

I cut the second floor and added the interior bracing so the flooring will slide into place.

A little light experimenting here. This is a 3mm warm white flood.

As a flood it is to focused on one spot. I don't like the look especially since I'll be installing a total of four.

This next photo is of just one small micro LED. As you can see, it spreads the light more evenly and thus enhancing the ambient light.

With four of these on the ceiling, the lighting will be just right for a cafe.

The LED is a miro LED from China. Yepper, the name of the business is WE HONEST! You just can't make this stuff up.

More tomorrow.

Tom,

Looks great as always.  Once again I am in awe of your ability to see thru any potential issues and add floors, lighting, etc.

And, FWIW, if you brush some water onto the siding before you add your sign, you can move it slightly
if you do not get it positioned exactly where you want it.

Jerry,

Appreciate the compliment on the build. This looked like an easy one but is actually a challenge.

Karl,

Thank you as always. I can't wait to get it finished either. This is the kind of kit that keeps giving and giving.
