Looks really good Loren. I have 3 or 4 different shades of the pickling wash I just picked up.

Hey Loren:

Walls window & doors look just great. This was one of my favorite FSM kits. I build A land based version for a friend. I'll be following along.

Hey Loren:

Nice job on the cornice. How did you make it so nicely?

Curt,
Thanks for the comment...The pickling washes work great, I have several different versions, from dolphin grey, to barn wood grey.

Karl,
Thanks for the comment, the cornice was wood base, and I made a small mold section for the corbels, and cast those in resin.

Loren, the walls look great. I love the subtlety in coloration. Looks highly authentic.

George,
Thanks so much for the compliment. I take bad pictures, so it looks even better in real life....

I'll second Loren's comments.  The building details and weathering are superb....I've seen them up close, and they do look better in person.  Actually, a few are sitting on my layout, waiting for me to get off my butt and get some work done on it so that I can plant them!

Hey All,
I managed to get some progress done. I have the main building walls put together, and some weathering done. Made the large exhaust pipe from a straw, came out pretty good. I am now working on the maintenance shed, with the shingle siding. Decided to use Bar Mills shingles instead of the old Campbells....Till next time, Thanks for taking a look....

Looks terrific.  I still am amazed at how nice those scratchbuilt doors look.
