Hey Karl, did you leave the back of the coal chute the bare wood? Like the instructions say,,,, can you notice the back? I'm thinking of putting the strip wood on the back like on the front,,,,

No It is not bare wood. painted it to match the rest of the coal shute. It is very difficult to see. Just paint it and you will be fine.

Thanks Karl, !!that's what I was meaning,,,, if you had just painted it or put strip wood.  So far the biggest pain was those coal chutes! Love how yours is coming out,,, I went for the red stain,,, it's definitely an unusual kit to build

You mean the ones on the roof. Yeah I actually counted the parts. If I remember there were over 70 parts between the four of them. Where are you posting your photos?
