Hi Bob C:

Glad you are building this along with me. I will be following your build. Just getting back to it today as had plumbers here doing some work. I'm just starting to re3ad the instructions. I'll be checking out what you mean.

Hey Guys:

I'mn reading the instructions. George say a lot of coal companies were painted gray. I talked to him and asked what he thought of me doing it in gray and he said by all means. So that is what I'm going to do.

Hi Guys:

The directions suggest using Red,Redish Brown or Gray. I called George yesterday and we talked about the wall colors. He suggested that I use gray for something different. So I am using Floquil Driftwood stain. Then an A&I wash dry-brushed with Apple Barrel #20526 Country Gray. I have all the painting done, signs are applied. I am now adding the wall bracing. When finished I will take photos.

Opa George

I'm following and very interested to see this one come together. I need a coal yard on my layout and am considering different kits available. This will be very helpful.
