When the green paint was dry, I used fresh painters tape and covered the green. I used a short piece of stripwood to press the tape down in the wall.

I used the Scalecoat Sand color next. I dipped the brush in the paint and then the tip in thinner. I then applied this to the walls. Every so often I painted some Sand color directly to the walls and then thinned it with clean thinner. I used the t-shirt to remove some paint and thinner.

When I first opened the Scalecoat Sand color, I panicked as the paint looked pink in color. When dry, the walls appear to be almost Driftwood looking.

Fast forward and here are some of the finished walls.

Next, the corner trim was painted using the same colors.  Here is how I married the two different colors to be even on the  corners.

I applied the Hunterline Medium Brown to four pieces of corner trim using scale 6 x 6's.

When dry I paint on the green color on both ends. When the green was dry, I used painters tape to cover the green.

I then used the sand color to stain/paint the center sections of the four 6X6's.

More in a few.

The tape was removed when dry.

Now to get it glued to the wall edge and even with the bottom color.

I marked on the rear wall section where the green color is on the obverse side.

I glued the corner trim to the wall edge and used the pencil line to align the green. Prior to the glue drying, I made sure it was also properly aligned on the front.

I then cut the trim off on the bottom and top.

Busy day tomorrow with the Babe so I'm not sure I'll get any modeling done.

I sprayed painted the doors and windows with the Scalecoat Sand color. I tried something different this time.

When the doors and windows were still tacky, I dipped them into a jor of Hunterline Medium Brown A&I. I think the A&I will become part of the paint for the overall weathered look to match the walls.

I found the jar at Sam Flax Art Supply.

Once dipped in the A&I, they were placed on a paper towel to dry.

When dry, I wrapped some painters tape around a wood paint stir stick and sprayed them with Model Master Flat finish.
