Great idea to place the church on brick column supports.  That'll really change the appearance of the structure.

Thank you. If you've seen the old country church in Altamonte you notice it is on the brick columns also. I will change the look and give me the eye catcher I'm after.

My church in Eustis actually sits on brick columns, but you wouldn't know it, because the outside curtain wall extends to the ground.Then again, it looks like a stone building, but it is actually a wooden structure with exterior blocks that mimic stone, but are actually concrete blocks. It is just over one hundred years old as well.

Glad I could help. The laser cut brick columns are very easy to color/stain and/or paint.

Hard to believe it has been almost three months since I last posted any updates. Actually, until today, I didn't have any updates.

I got the roof on, painted and weathered. I started by painting the underside of the roof edges with Floquil Reefer White.



When dry, I added lines on the topside for the rolled roofing.

I used rattle can Krylon Auto Primer and sprayed the back side of the sheet supplied by FOS.

The paper was then cut into the required strips.
