I've moved some structures so many times that breakage is unavoidable. I took the time to repair these structures prior to placing them on the layout one final time.

FS&M Jefferies Point is one such structure. It got a few hours on the work bench for repairs.

The structure was then placed on the layout and the scenery touched up around the structure.

The Rusty Spike Diner was added along with the yellow flowering tree Kris Cutler made for the A&S RR.

The scenery is now dry so the blue painter's tape was carefully removed. You can now see the foot print of the buidings.

The buildings now fit nicely in place. Of course some additional scenery has been added like palm trees and shrubs.

DeGraw Poultry is a FOS kit built by me some 10 years ago. This structure and Gordo's Fried Chicken have LEDs installed.

This next structure is a very special one. It is, I believe, a FOS kit. It was built by Jim Miller (Jimmillho). Hard to believe his passing has already been 15 months.

He named it after John Mancuso (Cuse) whom, by the way, was and still is one of the original 6 members of the SBG, Saturday Butty Group.

This kit is special because Jim built it but also because it shows Jim's sense of humor. The man on the right appears to be taking a leak in the corner. Upon closer inspection, the man is actually carrying a heavy bag of flower.

This next kit is also a FOS kit and one Reading Bob built. This one and the Mancuso Pizza are not lit for now.

Time for a Diet Pepsi, back in a few.

Gusano Loco sign isn't on the wrong side of the road. It is right in line with drivers as they round the corner.

Just some of my scenery supplies on hand when adding foliage and ground cover.

Hey Tom:

That is really cool. Love the palm trees.

Splendid , your scenery , your structures , how they blend in, just splendid.
I love photo's, don't we all.

Mark Dalrymple

Great post, Tom.

I like the painters tape trick for leaving the outline of structures when adding scenery.  I take it holes are drilled through the baseboard for the LED wiring?  Looking most splendid.

Cheers, Mark.

Mancuso's Pizza...another great honor for a largely absent SBG member. Thank you. The fact that Jim built it adds another degree of coolness.

The whole area looks great!
