Morning all,

Happy Friday the 13th!  T.G.I.F. even if it is the 13th!  :D

I'm looking forward to the weekend and some train time.  With any luck I'll get to do a little rail fanning tomorrow morning on the A&S.  ;)

Have a great one!

Last Friday off for me as the teachers return on Monday and we get back to full work weeks for the start of school.

Eye doctor checkup this morning, then some layout time. My progress on the Rust Rock Falls kit is moving forward with more terrain work as I site the main structure on the TMB & N.  Should be ready for some pics later today.

Happy day to all!

Good Morning;

Unfortunately it was a sad day here yesterday. Our furry member of the family, Maggie Mae could battle kidney failure no further without a real increase in pain. She was Deb's and my best buddy but her future was too bleak so we had to let her go. The house is empty today. Tomorrow will be better.

Jim, sorry to hear about Maggie Mae.  It's always hard to lose a family member, and I know what you mean about the house feeling empty.

I've been hiding in the basement during this heat wave, but mostly I've been reading.  So not much work on the layout.

Morning ramblers.

Whilst it is Friday, I am very saddened by the loss of your little friend, Jim. My compassion for animals spreads far and wide and has no bounds, so I'm sending support your way.

Sorry for your loss of a greatly loved pet Jim. Today is our wedding anniversary and yes we did get hitched on a Friday. A new grand daughter this week and attending the baptism of the second one this Sunday with a big family celebration. Officially on Monday all Covid restrictions are eased and it is " Freedom Day". Hopefully life will get back to normal. Have a great weekend everyone!
