Good morning!

Another rainy day here.  At least it's keeping the garden watered and pond filled.

Last weekend my youngest grandson (4th grade) helped me make waterfalls using the clear caulk method. I squeezed out the caulk and he ripplied it into falling water. Last evening I installed them and they look pretty good.  Photos later today when I get home from work and it is thoroughly dry.

Have a good one!

Morning all,

I think it's great that your letting your grandson pitch in and help with the layout Opa George!  That's a memory I'm sure he'll cherish for the rest of his life.   :)

Nothing for me on the workbench front.   :(

Have a great one!

Morning

Yesterday morning my wife was staring out the back window looking at the rain. She you will not believe what she said, " ... boy those branches of the oak tree are hanging low from the rain, maybe you should cut them off!" .

WHAT!

I told her to get dressed, while I get the ladder. One hour later after climbing the ladder a few times we managed to eliminate three 30 foot limbs.

Woman are so fickle.

Good Morning All,

I  have 2 more pieces of furniture to move today and a bunch of smaller stuff. Weather will probably not be cooperating, but today is the last day with son's help before Dad get's back on Saturday.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning. Raining again here, too, this makes three days in a row.  It needs to stop before the tax assessor decides to tax me for water front property for the river running through my yard.  The water is coming down the hill so fast that it is washing out the grass. Oh well, another day that I get to work on my layout.

George it's great to hear that you are working on your layout with your Grandson.  My Grandsons and my Granddaughter love having a train layout project to work on when they visit. I think it is the responsibility of our generation to help teach our Grandkids to work with their hands on something other than a keyboard.

I hope everyone has a great day. From the F&SM: Dovertown before he make over.

Good morning!  A little rain expected today, then t-storms overnight.  I'll get some layout time in today, but a few chores & grocery shopping come first.

A bit warm and somewhat muggy, high 70s, in NH, with scattered (occasionally heavy) showers. I"m back from the state capital, where I attended a New Hampshire Army National Guard retiree lunch.  It was great catching up with some of the guys I served with more than 25 years ago.  LOTS of (peacetime/training) war stories!    Now I need to listen to the video from my class that I blew off to attend the lunch...
