Good morning. Early car appt this am and I accidentally set my alarm an hour too early. Guess I'll have to do some extra putzing around in the basement.

Cheers,

Morning all,

The weekend is just around the corner.  Maybe some workbench time.  I still have a few little projects cluttering up the workbench.  ::)

More from the F&SM.

Have a great one!

Good morning Vince, Bob and everyone stopping in later.

Sure wish I had some F&SM photos but I visited during George's non-photo years.  I do have another pic (or three) from a visit to Dick Elwell's layout.

I'm going to my friend Jim's (whiskeyriver's) house for supper this evening.  There might even be some model railroad bs'ing.

Everyone have a great day!

Good morning and Happy Veterans Day. Thank you for your service.  Great F&SM picture Bob.  I'm going to be spending my day doing winterization chores at my cabin.  I'll get back to some modeling tomorrow.  I have been watching / studying Troles Kirk's video "Realistic Color for Model Railroading". I'm learning about pallets and color. It comes natural to some modelers like George Sellios. I need to study it and understand the mechanics to get things to look the way I want them.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning Everyone;

Happy Veterans Day and thank you to all who have served.

Spent yesterday mostly on museum work (it's not really work but fun time). I'm helping clean up the by-laws and getting the museum active again, the pandemic shut down really set places like this back on their heels.

Today I will get to work on my projects. Hope everyone enjoys today and remembers why we still have our Republic.

Happy day to fellow veterans!  A good day to remember everyone you served with.

Troels' DVD is a master-class in model railroading.  It's something you need some experience to fully understand.  Too bad he sold out years ago.

Good morning and Happy Veteran's Day. Today is also the 62nd wedding anniversary of my parents and my sister's birthday.

ACL1504

Morning all,

Happy Veteran's Day to all who served and are currently serving. My father's brother, Eddie, was wounded in the battle of the Bulge. He was shot in the stomach on December 20, 1944. My father was a major then and when hearing of the wound had Eddie sent back to the USA for recovery. He was sent to the hospital in Thomasville, Georgia. His nurse was Jane Caldwell. They were later married in 1945.

I'm taking the Babe out to diner late this afternoon

Have a great day.

A patriotic good morning to all.
My dad was in the Navy, his ship was on the coast of Normandy shortly after D-Day, helping set up those portable docks called Mulberries.
My wife's stepfather was a Murphy from Kissimmee- his brother K.O., who served as sheriff for many years, was a paratrooper who participated in the efforts to advance through Holland. Those battles inspired the movie, A Bridge Too Far.

Good Morning All,

Went out to Bob Evans for a free Veterans breakfast. I don't like their food but Dad really likes them. Working on static grass today.

I hope everyone has a good Veterans Day.

Morning all.

Knee deep in my new diorama, although just like most days it'll have to wait until evening to continue.

Hope you all have a great day!
