Well coffee pot is on and ready so I will open the club house for the day. My football team, Tampa Bay Bucs found a way to keep playoff hopes alive but not by much. I made progress on the flour mill yesterday and hope to continue some today.

We got our first frost of the year last night but I like it since it kills back the bugs here in Florida. As for today, just some house work and then bench time it looks like. Hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning.

Snowing briskly here this morning in my little corner of upstate NY.  Not really liking this weather as I have a couple errands I need to run this morning.  Hopefully this is a band of lake effect snow and not an all day event.  Today's forecast is calling for a 20% chance of snow.  Too bad the forecast office obviously lacks a window.

My son was here for the weekend.  We made a couple day trips, Saturday we went to visit friends and do a little shopping.  Yesterday we drove to Seneca Falls, NY to visit the Seneca Falls Museum and Tourist Center.  It is a wonderful museum that covers the history of the village as it grew along the banks of the canal, and also the arrival of the railroad.  They have a model railroad layout set ca. 1850 with the village modeled as it looked at the time, as well as a reference showing the buildings that are standing today.  We had a great time there and drove around a little to scope out some of the buildings referenced at the museum before heading home.

I hope everyone has a safe, warm, and snow free day!

Yesterday I visited 4 layouts on Tour de Chooch.  I'll post some photos later today.

Morning all,

Currently 59 outside.  Was lower when I went for my walk earlier.  That might explain why I didn't see too many of the regulars on the trail.

My chores for today are to replace the A/C filter (easy) and bring in the artificial X-Mas and assemble (that'll take a little time).

I think I settled on my Winter Build Challenge kits.  Two FOS background flats I want to use on the shelf layout I hope to begin construction on one of these days.  ;D

Have a great one!

Morning all.

Twenty two degrees and snowing here.  Some minimal accumulation, more on the streets/sidewalks than the grass for now.

More work on the FSM kit today.
