Good morning!

High 20's here in upstate NY to start the day with little change in the thermometer throughout the day. It snowed lightly overnight but the low overcast seems to detract from the white of the new snow.

I'll be working on some freight cars again today.  That's about as exciting as it gets here...

I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable day!

Right at freezing, but with wind so wind chills make it feel substantially colder.  The winds will keep up through the weekend as the temperatures drop.  All our snow is long gone, with no new snow in sight.  Bummer!

I'm still getting over the pending demise of Railroad-Line.  Discussions over there on what to do next, I suspect a fair number of people will join here, so I hope this forum is ready for a sudden influx.  (And it would be great if the RR-L data could be moved, but that won't happen for free!)

Today I'll do some windows and roof on the next Lamson building.

Morning all,

Cold for us here at 47 this morning.

Pam wants to go practice here bowling and I'll tag along. I can't bowl until the surgical tape falls off.

Have a great day ya'll.

Morning all,

It's good to be back home after our short trip to the chilly north.  Yesterday the decorations came down and got put away, so the house is back to normal.  I got my one chore done for the day so I'm going to pull out the workbench and get back to painting detail castings.  :D

Have a great one!

Morning all,

Twenty seven degrees and snowing here.  One to four inches predicted.  This is my last day off work, need to return tomorrow.   :P  At least they changed my lifting restriction from 10 to 25 pounds.  Now I can shovel, darn  it.

It's been a while since I logged on.  Since the RR-Line Forum is closing down, I thought I'd follow what's happening over here.
