Hello everyone,

I'm another refugee from the railroad line forum so I guess that makes me a newby (pun intended) here.

Thanks for having me.

Quote from: robert goslin on January 04, 2025, 05:00:29 PMHello All.  I'm also new here, all the way way from Melbourne, Australia.
And another refugee from Railroad Line Forums.
Plenty of others have or are coming over, plus plenty of familiar names that were already on both forums.

I model in a variety of scales.
N scale Boston & Maine,  1953.  Current half finished layout, will be torn down and a new one started soon.
On30 Maine based freelance waterfront, 1950's.  Hope to have a layout started for that next year.  Currently just dioramas.
On30 / On18 Mexican mini layout. Just completed this year, although I am currently adding a small extension to it.
Will probably recreate the old RRL thread for that over here, if anyone is interested.

Robert,

Welcome to this forum. I hope you consider showing us what you are doing in all those scales.

Count me in as well. I signed up previously, just can't remember when.
Recently received Happy Birthday wishes from you nice people. Thanks
Thanks for keeping my seat warm...

Hi everyone, my name is Greg, I am also a refugee from Railroad Line Forums.
Though I feel more like a rat fleeing a sinking ship, even though the ship hasn't sunk quite yet over there.
I really enjoy presenting HO scale builds, however I stopped doing them on RR Lines due to the changes to that forum.
This Modeler's Forum looks like it will be a good fit for those of us from RR Lines looking for a new place to share our passion for building structures & train layouts.
So I am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things here now.

Naturally, new voices might have some ideas along these lines. I think this is worth pursuing!!

Welcome to all the new visitors. Make yourselves at home and help us grow!

Good to see all you guys coming over.  8)

I guess by the picture you know I was Trains 1941 on the RR line forum.

I would say "yes", and suggest a separate administrative topic where people can suggest new topics.

dave

More than happy to field these suggestions!

I can open a new thread where we can all discuss.
